reading quote

A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few havens remaining where a man's mind can get both provocation and privacy.
- Edward P. Morgan
I chose this quote mostly because I find it just so true. The fact that you can explore thoughts and they can't hurt you even if it turns out it is the worst ever. The fact that no one can bother you in a book and all the stuff in the the book is private even if other people read the same book  they can't know what you're thinking about the book. You can  think whatever you like whether it's inappropriate or not that smart, it is and always will be private. You can do so much with a book and nothing can ever happen no matter what. Your imagination can run wild and a book is the only place where you can do this without you being forced to ask yourself "but if I do that, what will happen".
